You will really enjoy the HSC. I have been a student and practitioner--to the best of my ability-- for 15 years. The biggest obstacle to his work for most people are Russell's definitions of words and how he edits them.
A lot of people might not know that in the 1920’s, Russell created the idea of cooperative ownership of apartment buildings in Miami and New York: the condominium model.
“The Man Who Tapped the Secrets of the Universe” describes his early life as a humble service oriented youth. I suspect Universal Mind had taken notice of him at an early age.
Depends on the day. Or rather, month. There are times I see it frequently, times I don’t. I tend to pay attention to events outside of that though.
One such event was a dream I had about a year ago now. In it, I heard a phrase, difficult to do in dreams. I believe in the dream I heard it and read it at the same time. It appeared without appearing, kind of in a book that wasn’t there but was, best way I can describe it.
“The distance between thought and manifestation of that thought grows shorter.”
Many are reporting strange dreams, disturbing dreams, unusual experiences, time shifts, changes in energy of being.
Walter Russell, in his lectures, said that the day is the time for work & action and night is sacred, because it is the time for Knowing & Cosmic Knowledge.
He suggested everyone to keep a pen and paper next to their beds. I think the reason you have remembered your dream so long is because there is deep significance to it in your life in some way, but only you can interpret it.
I’ve been tracking dreams for a bit now, I have forgotten to have a notepad by my bed, but the dreams seem so similar. My roommate has them too.
They consist of being in a house with people. The people are always annoying and always wanting something. There is never a conclusion. This particular dream is frequent.
I have wondered at times how many are dreaming just that, and the what and why of it.
Thank you for writing this - I have been a longtime fan and student of Walter russell (can't say I understand everything specially the science, but I try ) and only recently purchased the home study course. Russell's work and discoveries have the power to change, heal, and enlighten humanity. The more people find out about him, the better off we will all be.
Yes, what I mean is, it's a shame he didn't have a chance to encounter the Vajrayana Buddhism, which has the clearest descriptions I have found for what Russell attempts to describe in the language and ideas of his time and place. Enlightenment is a gift and a challenge for those who come to it without a milieu of support. People definitely need to know more about him!
Love this! I’m Harrison, an ex fine dining line cook. My stack "The Secret Ingredient" adapts hit restaurant recipes (mostly NYC and L.A.) for easy home cooking.
Absolutely fascinating read, I plan on purchasing some of his works. I’m curious has Mr Russel ever addressed the race issue? I’m about to be replaced in my country. Does he ever address the absolute evil taking place in our current society?
i myself have long held this belief that humans are born genius (theres a great TED talk by george land about this) and seeing that validated by this man was incredible
also hearing tesla tell him to hide his insights because people will not get it for thousands of years was hilarious but i think people will probably get it when its far too late.
then just felt a kinship to this man because he was too woo woo for the scientists and too scientific for the spiritualists which i often feel myself within my world.
being dynamic always wins over singulars and he was a great example of this
Sorry, I just saw your reply from this morning. Can't say what stood out to me in particular, but I like to learn about quirky people like that. As Harry Truman said, there's nothing new in this world except the history you haven't heard.
I am glad it found you as well! I am in no way affiliated, but if you want to read some of the many books written by him, check out philosophy.org I highly recommend The Secret of Light for new readers!
Also, check out @Matt Presti, his publication is amazing—and he is the former president of The University of Science and Philosophy (formerly the Walter Russell Foundation)
If I had to pick one section…it would be about Russell’s “state of divine illumination.” That whole passage…the auras, the inner hearing, the Music of the Spheres as literal was fascinating. His concept of Rhythmic Balanced Interchange as a foundational law of the universe feels like a poetic way to reimagine energy and matter.
The way his ideas were dismissed reminds me a lot of Rupert Sheldrake’s work. I just finished his book Science Set Free, and while his framework is different, the pushback he gets for challenging reductionist science feels very similar. His idea of morphic resonance like Russell’s cosmic cycles invites us to think in terms of pattern, consciousness, and connection, not just mechanism. ✨

What is HSC?
Sorry for the abbreviation. Home Study Course.
Where would I find that?
These are the stories that we need to hear more of!
I think people are tired of negative stories. People are beginning to crave inspiration for something greater than the mundane.

That is an excellent bit of info that was not in the article but which deserves spotlight.
Thank you for sharing!
I read this at 11:11 PM.
Hmn.
Do you see that number combination a lot?

Keep analyzing it. There is meaning and Knowledge in it which only you can interpret.
I do 🤔

I couldn't have said it better myself!
Thanks for sharing, very intriguing figure, I can’t be the only person who thought it was Evan Amato at first 😅
I wonder if @Evan Amato would agree 😂🤔
who's evan amato?
I know russell but I don't know amato 😌
Evan Amato along with James are the two authors of Invictus: https://open.substack.com/pub/joininvictus?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android&r=4plrsc
Sounds like the understanding of Vajrayana to me. All mystical roads lead to the same enlightenment...
All religions come from the same source, as you said.
In a lecture, Walter Russell mentioned that his favorite book that he had come across after his illumination was the Bhagavad Gita.

You are correct. I have never heard of him but will be seeking out some of his writings and look forward to what you have to share in the future.
I would suggest starting with:
The Secret of Light
then… depending on what interests you more:
Science: read A New Concept of the Universe
Philosophy/Spirituality: The Divine Iliad 1&2
Absolutely fascinating read, I plan on purchasing some of his works. I’m curious has Mr Russel ever addressed the race issue? I’m about to be replaced in my country. Does he ever address the absolute evil taking place in our current society?
He was staunchly anti-communist.
His writings in Chapter 9 (I believe) of the Home Study Course addresses this issue.
loved this more positive historical story right up my alley!
I am so happy you enjoyed it esra!

I think you are right, and I think the current schooling system does more harm than good in this respect.
If you are interesting in his writings, I would highly suggest reading: The Secret of Light. It will melt your mind.
Very interesting, thanks for making me aware of this!
I just learned about a REALLY obscure historical figure yesterday:

My pleasure!

I agreed. The seeking of knowledge and the inspiration that follows keeps the mind young.
Wow, this was so interesting! I’d never heard his name before so I’m glad this found me

I would go further in saying that not only it is poetic, but with the advancements of quantum mechanics, it is scientifically proven.
Thank you for your response! I hope you have a nice day!
Excellent! Loved this! Thank you ❤️🇨🇦❤️
Awww, thank you Cassandra!!
What stood out to you the most in the article?
The fact that this man was clearly so very intelligent and so far ahead of his time …but he was ignored…
Reminds me of other Historical figures who have been erased…
And how easy it is to do…
❤️🇨🇦❤️
I couldn't agree more!
Have a fantastic weekend!
You too! 🥰🇨🇦❤️
