Fantastic article my friend! And thank you for the honorable mention. Everybody who has "believed" in the fallacy of "raising their vibrations" can free themselves of this unnecessary pseudo-goal and live with actual knowledge of how this electric universe truly functions. Bravo!
A refreshing and sober post. Do you think that the influence of yoga contributed to the concept of vibration through the concept of "AUM" being a sort of intonation?
Many New Age terms and concepts arose in the 1800s where, as you point out, they tried to marry current scientific discoveries with religion: not just "vibration", but also "energy", "consciousness", "animal magnetism", and "evolution".
It's possible and lkely. Yoga is a wonderful practice, but got 'hijacked" by the New Age people and spun off into a plethora of practices unrelated to its original intent.
Are you familiar with the Buckminster Fuller work called Synergetics: Explorations in the Geometry of Thinking?
I have always considered Russell’s writing as the theoretical while Fuller’s was the nuts and bolts.
Studying both as a comprehensive look at ‘reality’ is a lifelong effort.
I know Fuller, but have not read that specific work. I will of course check it out, thank you!
Yes agree - must say the Russell quote describes yin/yang
All things are involved in all things.

Thank you my friend. I'm glad we're....vibing 😂
Indeed! 😂😇

I wrote about the latter here: https://horusontheprairie.substack.com/p/there-is-no-such-thing-as-spiritual

Yes partly a side effect of capitalism - how to make money out of it and sell it - not hard practice and self refection which it requires
