Even the human heart follows this model. Contract - relax, making life possible.

In the ancient chakra system the heart center acts as a bridge between the upper and lower chakras.

The heart is the +4 0 4- location, just like the construction of Russell’s Periodic Table.

Very interesting. Concentrating is not my strong suit. Is it fair to say women's brains are "all over the place compared to men? When i'm not concentrating, My mind is never still …..ifs daydreaming.

Is there a study to test whether both sexes have the same abilities to concentrate or are we " wired" differently?

Great article - I feel like I wanna re-read it many times. Looking forward to the "decentration" one. Would you say "decentration" is the same as letting go?

Thank you for reading! Yes, one connotation of decentration is letting go, as you said. There are of course countless others (all based on the same principle) which I will explain in more depth!

Most research states that men and women have equal abilities to concentrate, however, their proclivities of expression differ. On average, men tend to concentrate all their thought energy into one task. Women tend to concentrate that SAME AMOUNT of thought energy time multiple tasks.

A good visual is this: If a man and a woman both have 10 gallons of 'thought energy', a man, on average will fill up one container with all 10 gallons. A woman, will, on average take that SAME 10 GALLONS, and fill up 10 separate 1 gallon containers. Both have their pros and cons. If women couldn't focus their thought energy into a single task, we wouldn't have Emily Dickinson, Mary Shelley, or J. K. Rowling.

This was a great question... and it you mentioned "My mind is never still..." which actually leads to part 2 of this newsletter.
